Sofia grew up just north of Atlanta and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Sustainable Cities from Georgia Tech in 2025. She has completed her first year in the M. ARCH program there and will become a “Double Jacket” in 2027.
During her time in school, she has been a Teaching Assistant for the “Intro to Design and the Built Environment” class that first-year students take and for “What’s Next?”, offered to upperclassmen to help them decide their futures in the field. Pouring into the students has been incredibly rewarding, and she has enjoyed leadership opportunities such as teaching classes and developing a new course.
She has years of experience in remodeling and interior design and is most interested in client and context-focused design. She is also passionate about resilient architecture and how designers and cities can adapt to our ever-changing world.
Additionally, Sofia enjoys coaching and working out at her CrossFit gym, caring for her 20+ plants, reading, taking walks on the BeltLine, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats.
